Group shot of volunteers for the Open Space District

The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District is engaged in a comprehensive Vision Planning process and seeks your involvement in four upcoming meetings.

So far about a thousand people have participated in conversations about how they envision the future of open space in this part of the Bay Area. At the same time, a team of scientists has been studying current conditions that present opportunities and challenges to the kind of future people envision.

The District has used all this open space visioning information to identify a range of actions to include in the Vision Plan. Now the District is convening a series of public workshops where community members will help decide which of these actions are most important. The workshops will be dynamic meetings where participants will:
Learn about the identified actions in specific areas of the Open Space District
Discuss priorities with other community members
Rate the actions and see real time results showing what the community says is most important.
