Nominating Committee

The Nominating Committee is charged by the Bylaws to produce candidates for the next Fiscal Year's Board and Nominating Committee at the Annual Meeting. Any member can send potential nominees to the Committee by sending to nominating@lwvlamv.org or talking with any active Committee member. Our report will be sent out to the membership at least 20 days before the Annual Meeting. Nominations can also be done at the Annual Meeting itself.

FY26-27 Committee Membership: Kevin Ma (Chair), Karin Bricker, Pamela Baird, and Two Board Representatives TBD

Nominating Committee Chair and Two Nominating Committee Members are always up for election.

Board Roles up for nomination in 2027 are: President, Vice President-Program (Half-Term), Secretary, Voter Services Director, Social Policy Portfolio Director, Government Portfolio Director, and Two Directors At-Large

Board Roles up for nomination in 2026 were: President, Vice President-Action, Vice President-Program, Treasurer, Voter Services Director, Natural Resources Portfolio Director, Membership Director, Communications Director, and One Director At-Large

Deadline to nominate through Committee will be announced when the next Annual Meeting is set. Nominations from the floor is allowed.
