Senator Jerry Hill will conduct a community discussion on the state budget.
What Are Your Priorities For California's Budget? For the first time in a decade, California's budget is largely in balance. However, the state has outstanding debts of $28 billion not counting long-term pension and retiree health care costs. Budget choices affect us all. The Convention is a chance for all our members to network, share their skills and discuss the future. The public is also welcome to attend workshops, guest speakers during meals and to observe our plenary. Details soon. | |

Topics of Discussion: Approve the budget, vote for new officers, and choose local programs for the year 2013-2014.
