The June 5, 2012 Election

• Candidate Forums and Pros and Cons meetings are being held around Santa Clara County. For dates and locations go to the Leagues of Women Voters of Santa Clara County. In addition, our calendar has a listing of local events.

• The League of Women Voters of Palo Alto has produced a Voters' Guide, presenting background information on the county-wide Measure A.

• now has details on candidates and issues on the June ballot. In addition, LWV California has produced a summary of changes for June 2012 and has published additional information on ballot measures.

Lunch with the League: Water Economics

In May, the Santa Clara Valley Water District will continue the discussion of public agencies dealing with the current economic conditions. In addition, SCVWD will be providing information on what the District does for future funding which may include the tax measure on this fall's  ballot.
